My love and passion for healthy pets
I set up Wellbeing Pet Services to help satisfy my love for healthy pets and to help you give your pet the time and attention he or she needs and deserves when you can’t be there to give it to them.
I have always believed an animal needs a lot of mental and physical stimulation to give it a long and fulfilling life. This really showed itself during my time as a volunteer at The Blue Cross, spending time socialising with cats and kittens in their care, walking dogs and puppies, and fostering numerous dogs for them that needed special care and attention before going on to their forever homes.
I have a simple philosophy – if the pet is well cared for, loved and stimulated it will give you back everything you give to it and more.
No one gets a pet with the intention of locking it up all day but sometimes life happens, and we all need a bit of help. I enjoy what I do and my passion for the wellbeing of animals is what makes me leap out of bed in the mornings, come rain or shine with an enthusiasm to see my animal pals that day.
I have cared for and owned all sorts over time from Great Dane to Chihuahua and new-born Kitten to rescued moggy. I am familiar with and a confident handler of all types of breeds including giant.
There are a lot of dog walkers and I am sure they all do a great job, but I treat every encounter with your pet as an adventure for them. I vary the walk, the locations, the activities, the games and endeavour to leave them tired, happy and looking forward to their next adventure making my time with them – not just a walk in the park.
